Mithuna Chandra: Remedies for 2026, 2027 and 2028
Mithuna Moon: Shani in the 10th through early 2027, then the 11th. Budha’s remedy is the work you finish, not the extra yes.

For a Mithuna Moon, Shani spends 2026 and the first half of 2027 in the 10th house. The 10th is karma in public: the job, the name on the door, the work people can point at. Around 3 June 2027 Shani moves into the 11th, a house where its gochar is classically more comfortable. The remedy is Budha’s, because Budha rules Mithuna, and Shani’s, because Shani is the one standing on the career.
Three yeses in one week
Picture Anjali in Pune, a sketch. She edits copy for two companies and a cousin’s wedding website. In a single week of 2026 she says yes to a new client, a weekend trip, and a rewrite she does not have the nights for. Shani in the 10th does not punish the skill. It punishes the extra yes. The work that is hers gets done at 1 a.m. and looks tired. Budha, her rashi lord, is the graha of the sentence. A sentence she cannot finish is the whole transit, in miniature.
How the three years sit
Until about 3 June 2027, Shani in Meena is the 10th. Vakri motion until 11 December 2026 brings back a professional choice from earlier in the year: a role, a byline, a boss. Do not add a fourth commitment during the retrograde. Rewrite the one that is already live. From June to about 20 October 2027 Shani is in Mesha, your 11th: gains, networks, the income that follows work already done. It returns to the 10th until about 23 February 2028, then settles in the 11th. So 2028 is the better Shani house, if 2026 was used to make the work real.
Guru’s path from this Moon: uchcha in the 2nd (Karka) for much of 2026 and again from 25 January to about 26 June 2027. The 2nd is speech, family money, and food. That is a classical Guru house. Use it to say one true thing about fees. Between the Leo stretches (31 October 2026 to 25 January 2027, and about 26 June to 26 November 2027) Guru is in the 3rd: writing, siblings, short travel. Around 26 November 2027 Guru enters the 4th, in Kanya, where Guru is neecha. The home then needs quiet maintenance, not a new philosophy of living.
Rahu in Makara from early December 2026 is the 8th from Mithuna. Shared money, tax, insurance, and other people’s secrets get a Rahu hunger. Ketu in the 2nd thins the appetite for chatter. The combination is useful if you let the 2nd get simpler: fewer opinions, cleaner accounts. It is expensive if you talk more to cover the 8th.
Budha’s shanti, at a scale that fits a week
In BPHS chapter 84, Budha’s place in the sequence is milk with shashtika rice as the meal, gold as the dakshina, and apamarga as the samidha of the homa. The full japa is 9,000. Gold is the rite’s gift, not a shopping list. According to capacity, a Wednesday meal given cleanly, and 108 of “Om Budhaya Namah,” honours the same graha. The conduct is the rest of the remedy, and for Mithuna it is the main one: write the deadline down, decline one project, send the file on the day you named.
Shani on the 10th still wants Saturday. Sesame or a little oil, and one hour of the work you have been calling “admin.” Deepanshu Giri has said in his public classes that people often already know the remedy and have been postponing it. For Anjali the postponed remedy is the word no.
A green stone bought because “Mercury rules Gemini” has not consulted the dasha. Leave ratna until the chart is read. The 10th house improves when the work is narrower and finished, which you can test without a gem.
