So 2028 is not another year of the same 8th. It is the 9th, which asks for a plainer relationship with a father or a teacher, and for a faith you can practise on an ordinary Saturday.

Guru enters Simha, onto this Moon, on 31 October 2026, stays until 25 January 2027, and comes again from about 26 June to 26 November 2027. Both passes share the sign with a thinning influence: Ketu until December 2026, and the memory of that Ketu afterwards. A title can arrive and feel flat. Take the title if the work is real. Do not take a second loan to celebrate it. Around 26 November 2027 Guru enters Kanya, the 2nd from Simha, in neecha. Speech and savings get Guru’s topic at a lower dignity. Keep the 2028 budget dull and true.

Rahu in Makara from December 2026 is the 6th from Simha. Debt, employees, and health routines get Rahu’s magnification. The 6th can be won by repetition: the same clinic, the same payment date, the same hour of sleep. Ketu in the 12th from December 2026 (Karka is the 12th from Simha) spends quietly. Let it. A foreign plan or a hospital paper belongs in a file, not in a speech.

Surya and Shani, both, because both are in the room

Simha is Surya’s rashi, so the mind’s dignity is solar even while Shani presses the 8th. BPHS chapter 84 gives Surya jaggery-rice as the meal, a cow as the dakshina, arka as the samidha, and 7,000 as the full japa. The household form is wheat or gur given on Sunday, and 108 of “Om Suryaya Namah” at sunrise if you can stand there. The conduct is simpler: do not make a father, or your own eldest role, into a performance.

Shani still gets Saturday, because Shani is the distressed graha of the transit. Sesame, oil, or a blanket, and one look at the EMI. The full Shani count is 23,000, inside a rite. You are not asked to do that alone. The capacity verse in the same chapter is the permission to keep a small daan that actually happens. Ashtama is also a reason to stop reading omens into every ache. Book the checkup you have postponed. That is Shani’s kind of courage.
