Karka Chandra: Remedies for 2026, 2027 and 2028
Karka Moon: Guru is exalted on the Moon until 31 October 2026, and again with Ketu until about 26 June 2027. Chandra’s remedy is the meal you attend.

A Karka Moon spends the richest part of 2026 with Guru uchcha on the Moon itself. That stay runs until 31 October 2026, and it returns from 25 January to about 26 June 2027. Ketu joins Karka around 5–6 December 2026 and is still there when Guru comes back. The second exaltation is quieter than the first. Shani, meanwhile, is in the 9th until about 3 June 2027, then in the 10th.

In the summer and monsoon of 2026, Guru on a Karka Moon can feel like a larger life: a course, a pregnancy in the family, a teacher who is simply kind, a house that wants guests. The plate is the remedy already sitting on the table. Chandra rules this rashi. Chandra’s topics are the mother, the meal, the mind that changes with the room. A promotion that makes her miss every Thursday dinner is not Guru’s instruction. It is her skipping the graha that rules her Moon.
Two versions of the same exaltation
From 2 June to 31 October 2026, Guru is in Karka without Ketu. The 1st-house transit colours the mind directly. Use it for a family decision that has been waiting: a parent’s care, a move within the city, a study you start and actually attend. On 31 October Guru enters Simha, your 2nd, until 25 January 2027. The 2nd is also a classical Guru house: speech and savings. Say the household budget out loud in those weeks. The ingress itself is Guru enters Simha.
Ketu enters Karka in the first week of December 2026. From then on, the private self goes a little absent. Recipes still get made. The person who held the room gets quieter. When Guru returns, retrograde, on 25 January 2027, it shares the Moon’s sign with Ketu until about 26 June. Read that stay in Guru’s return to Karka. Expect substance with less theatre. A naming, a reconciliation, a degree resumed: possible. A large show about it: not the point of this pass.
Shani in Meena is the 9th from Karka through early June 2027. Father, guru, long travel, and the law you live by get Shani’s slow editing. Around 3 June 2027 Shani enters the 10th, stays until about 20 October, returns to the 9th until about 23 February 2028, and then settles in the 10th. So the career weight arrives in earnest in 2028. Do the 9th-house duty in 2026, while Guru is still on the Moon to give you judgement: sit with the father, finish the ritual you already keep, do not collect a new guru from a reel.
Chandra’s place in the shanti
BPHS chapter 84 gives Chandra payasam as the meal, a conch as the dakshina, and palasha as the homa wood. The full japa is 11,000. A conch on a shelf does nothing. Milk and rice, or kheer, offered on Monday to someone who will eat it, is the capacity form. 108 of “Om Chandraya Namah” in the evening, when the mind is less crowded, fits the graha. The conduct is the plate: be at the dinner you already have.
Shani’s 9th wants a Saturday that is not dramatic. Sesame, and one conversation with an elder that is not a debate. Guru’s Thursday practice can stay small while Guru is uchcha. Curd and rice, or a set of clothes given away, is Guru’s item in the same chapter. When Ketu is on the Moon, add simplicity rather than a new upasana every week. Too many remedies is how Chandra gets scattered, which is the opposite of what this Moon needs.
