Wedding Muhurats after Diwali 2026
Chaturmas ends 20 November 2026. Venus and Mercury are direct after about 13 November. A 2026 wedding still needs both charts, not just an open season.

Two gates open in November 2026. Around 13 November Shukra and Budha turn direct, so a contract can be signed without the Diwali retrograde sitting on it. On 20 November Devuthani Ekadashi ends Chaturmas, so communities that paused weddings may start again. Tulsi Vivah is the 21st. Neither gate is a muhurat by itself.
A family in Jaipur has a hall hold for 28 November and wants the date because “the season is open.” Ask for the tithi and the nakshatra, and run both charts. Shani is still retrograde until 11 December. That does not forbid a wedding. It means a date chosen only for the hall is unfinished. Navamsa and Mangal belong in the match, not as a scare, as a reading.
After 11 December the pace changes, not the rules
